László Lovász received a prestigious award, the Erasmus Medal was awarded to the Abel Prize-winning research professor for his consistently outstanding international scientific work by the European Academy of Sciences.

Our competitors performed well at the International Mathematical Olympiad

The Hungarian team finished 14th among the 110 participating countries. All of our competitors are returning home with medals: Mátyás Bodor and Ábel Szakács won gold medals, Pál Czanik, Martin Holló, and Boldizsár Varga won silver medals, and István Ádám Molnár won a bronze medal.

Csaba Csapodi received a four-year grant from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences
